Issue 001: If you do not own it, you are renting it

If you don't own it, you're renting it. Your attention, your data, your leads, your time. Most of us are paying rent on all of it and calling it convenience.

I'm Jason Rashidnia. Sovereignty is my baseline, not a hobby. Everything I build is me trying to prove it works in real life, with real money.

Why I'm writing this

Once a week I'll send one note from the work. Where I see dependency show up in a business or a personal stack, and what I'd build instead. If I tried it, I'll tell you what happened. If I didn't, I won't pretend I did.

What sovereignty means to me

Owning the stuff that matters:

1. Your mind. Your attention isn't a feed's inventory.

2. Your data. Your identity and your AI agents answer to you.

3. Your money. Income that doesn't need anyone's permission.

4. Your tools. Systems you can keep and move when a platform changes the rules.

5. Your time. A calendar you run, not one that runs you.

Learned this the hard way. I co-founded Grow Moringa with Kendrick using a couple old iPhones and farmer grit. 24k+ subscribers on YouTube, about $150k a year from memberships and wholesale. We went viral a couple times, one video hit 1M+ views. Then TikTok banned the account because Ken said the word "cure" on a live stream. Gone. That's what renting looks like.

What I'm building now

1. Service Ghost (serviceghost.ai). Local trades lose jobs every day to missed calls and dead websites. We put up a real capture site and an AI that answers and books, so the owner stops leaking money.

2. Commercial Concrete (commercialconcrete.org). One focused place for commercial concrete demand.

3. Automate Security (automatesecurity.com). Security you control instead of waiting in a vendor's queue.
